Dr. Serg Bell is a tech entrepreneur, investor, and executive. He has founded two dozen global IT companies, numerous venture funds, and several science and education centers. These include Constructor Group (formerly known as SIT), Acronis, Parallels, Virtuozzo, Acumatica, Webpros, Runa Capital and Terra.VC.
Serg is also advancing science and education globally through various initiatives.
Serg Bell was born in the USSR into a family of physicists. In 1993, he moved to Singapore. In 2001, Serg became a Singaporean citizen and emerged as a prominent tech entrepreneur, the same year he formally renounced his Russian citizenship to comply with Singaporean legislation.
Dr. Serg Bell holds a B.S. in Physics, an M.S. (Hons) in Physics and Electrical Engineering, and a Ph.D. in Computer Science. He has filed over 350 patents (USPTO) and holds an H-index of 48.
